Charity and Community

As a community-focussed organisation, over the years we have taken part in a number of projects with a view to helping those that need it. From working with the local hospital to providing a new tourist information kiosk on Broadstairs seafront.

Broadstairs Deck Chair - In association with the Anselmis at Blue Anchor Beach shop, we have raised £6500 through donations over 4 years for Pilgrim' Hospice
Hersden Community Minibus - We helped to fund raise over £500 to give this valuable asset back to the community
Rainbow Ward, QEQM - Along with other local businesses, we undertook major renovation of gardens and outside space
Xmas and Easter Gifts - Over the years we have taken part in the distribution of gifts to children in QEQM Hospital
Poland Trip - Working with Quex Barn and St George's School, we helped to deliver much needed supplies across Poland

Broadstairs Information Kiosk

Broadstairs Information Kiosk was established in 2011 as a joint venture by local trade organisations, business and councils provide a warm welcome and useful information to visitors to and residents in Broadstairs and St. Peter's.

In 2022, their arrangement to be located in the Royal Albion Hotel gardens was ended by Shepherd Neame. After the board found a new location a bit further down the seafront near Chandos Square, we stepped in to pay for the wooden kiosk.

We are delighted to be able to help this valuable community asset as part of our community programme.
